HI there…i’m a Mac user with Brain Host as my web host. I followed your Prosper202 installation procedure to the last detail. Then i type my URL onto my browser – http://XXXX.com But i cant access the Prosper202 installation window. Though my Filezilla transfer mode in set to AUTO, i decided to change it to BINARY. I upload again the P202 files. Still i cant access to the installation window. Please advice.
Hey,
We'll get you fixed up...
Ok, so what do you get when you type your URL into your browser?
Also which browser are you using? Maybe try a different browser too... Could be a cookie or redirect thing.
I'll be able to help more if I know what you see when you type in your URL...
Wish I could help more this first go around.
Thanks for leaving a question,
Derek

Hi derek…
Thanks very much for your prompt reply.
I tried on two different browser – Google Chrome & Mozila
Didnt work , coz each time i put my URL, it takes me back to my web page.
The entire upload process was good. I also changed the 202-config file to 202-config.php
Upload was on public_html without creating sub folder as per instructions.
Whats the ‘cookie’ & ‘redirect’ ?
HOw do i rectify it?
Hope you can help me out on this.
CHeers!
albert
Derek…
Here’s another piece of info for you
I’m having Brain Host as my web hosting provider.
I did check with them rgd the Prosper202 set up requirement.
They informed me that their server is compatible.
Yet i still cant fix the existing problem.
Hey Albert,
You’re very welcome…
Ok, so you installed P202 over your existing webpage?
That’s a problem. P202 needs to run in it’s own domain or in a subdomain. That’s why it’s not working for you.
So if you don’t have a dedicated tracking domain, then create a subdomain and move your files and folders over. Then type in the URL of the subdomain.
Should work for you.
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks,
Derek
Hey Albert,
Very cool that they support Prosper202. I think I know what the problem is and gave the solution in my other reply… Basically you need to create a subdomain and move your files and folders over into it.
That’s because Prosper202 won’t install over an existing webpage. It needs it’s own domain.
I hope that helps…
Thanks,
Derek
