Setting up the tracking isn’t very hard once you’ve done it a few times. As with anything new, it can be hard to get your head around in the beginning.

Are you using Prosper202 for your tracking? Or using something like the built-in MSN tracking?

Since these are Clickbank products the MSN tracking is built into Clickbank. Might make things a little easier the first time around. Clickbank doesn’t offer a generic tracking capability or tracking pixel like most affiliate networks. So the only other way is Subid tracking which is a little more manual as you need to pull conversion reports and update your Prosper202 server.

I honestly prefer using Prosper202 but that’s just me. It’s a little more tedious to setup, but I like protecting my data as most Clickbank product owners are marketers too. If you give them your campaign data, they just may steal it from you. Not always but it does happen.

I hope that helps out some. Once I know where you are and what you want to use for tracking, it’s a little easier to answer this question.

You can install Prosper202 on one domain and use it for all of your tracking. As long as you’re using landing pages then no redirect is needed within the destination URL.

If you want to track landing page CTR, then you use the step #6 redirect code for the click-through link itself, not the tracking link.

I need to track all my paid traffic with prosper 202.

I have 5 different domain, I need to install 5 times prosper202?

or can i install p202 in 1 domain ex: trackallproduct.com ?

i ask this because i need my tracking link without redirect ex: product1 http://www.product1.com/? product2 http://www.product2.com/? etc..

These two mods allow for a bit quicker setup and with the LP CTR Mod, some nice CTR info especially for your keywords. Prosper202 has always been suitable for basic CPV / PPV tracking. It will allow you to track to the keyword level.

Now CPV Labs on the other hand will track complex funnels several pages deep.

So depending on whether you want simple tracking to the keyword level for say just the lander and the click-through or if you want to track complex funnels will define which tracking system will be better for you.

Very cool that they support Prosper202. I think I know what the problem is and gave the solution in my other reply… Basically you need to create a subdomain and move your files and folders over into it.

That’s because Prosper202 won’t install over an existing webpage. It needs it’s own domain.

That’s a problem. P202 needs to run in it’s own domain or in a subdomain. That’s why it’s not working for you.

So if you don’t have a dedicated tracking domain, then create a subdomain and move your files and folders over. Then type in the URL of the subdomain.

Should work for you.
