Hi Derek, I’m using Tracking202 pro and trying to test my on PPC (Adwords) for optins on my squeeze page and sales of my own products using pixel tracking on my landing page. My question is how to integrate the codes on my various pages because the way it’s described in the T202 docs if there’s no “affiliate link” none of it makes sense. Since I do affiliate promotions to my list I want the benefit of T202 pro’s automatic stats from the affiliate networks but on the front end I also want keyword tracking for my conversion. Right now I’m getting no visitors showing on my “Recent Visitors” in T202pro (spy view) which has been boggling my mind. I’ve got T202pro auto-synching for the past few days just to make sure it matched up. I recently redid my landing page with a much simpler design to improve conversion and get the tracking working because I thought there was a conflict with my tracking codes and the codes I had on there for Split Test Accelerator but the simpler landing page didn’t help. I look forward to hearing from you. thanks, Joshua
Hey Joshua,
I could probably drag this out, but let me provide the short and simple answer here...
Where it says affiliate link, you would put either your squeeze page URL or your sales page URL depending on which landing page you want to use for your adwords visitors.
The way Tracking202 Pro works is you can use it for affiliate tracking or tracking your own products.
Where is says affiliate link is just a redirect to whatever link you put in there. The code simply drops the cookie and then redirects to the link.
Since you own the entire sales process, you can just put the tracking pixel on your thank you pages for your opt-ins and your products.
As far as no visitors showing up in "Recent Visitors" I'm not sure about that. I'll need to take a look at your Setup... It's probably ok, but I like to verify before I jump to any conclusions.
I hope that helps out...
Thanks,
Derek
